Disclaimer: Rig Routes’ Role and Responsibilities
At Rig Routes, we want to clarify our position within the onshore drilling industry to ensure transparency and avoid any potential misunderstandings regarding the nature of our services. Rig Routes is a specialized mobile and web-based mapping platform designed to assist users in creating comprehensive directions and route assessments for hazard identification along proposed routes.
Key Points:
– No Consultation or Advisory Role:
Rig Routes does not provide consultation, advice, or recommendations related to rig moves, rig move efficiency, operational strategies, or the actual planning of rig relocations. Our service is strictly limited to mapping routes and assessing potential hazards that may be encountered during route planning.
– Distinct from Rig Move Efficiency:
Rig Routes does not engage in operational processes such as dismantling and reassembling rigs. Our focus is exclusively on providing distance, height, length, and width measurements relevant to road hazards along a proposed route using our proprietary mobile and web-based platform. Our goal is to assist in risk mitigation by providing accurate directions and assessments to prevent costly incidents.
– Standalone Mapping System:
The Rig Routes platform is a standalone system used for documenting and evaluating routes from one location to another. Our technology records pertinent details about road hazards such as power lines, cattle guards, low clearances, and other obstacles that could impact route safety.
– User Responsibility: Users of Rig Routes are responsible for conducting their own due diligence, risk assessments, and operational planning. The safety and effectiveness of a route depend on the decisions made by the users, their appointed Route Assessors, and their adherence to industry standards and regulations.
– No Liability for Operational Decisions: Rig Routes expressly disclaims any liability for operational decisions made based on information derived from our mapping service. Users should not rely on Rig Routes for planning, advice, or consultation regarding rig relocations or any associated activities.
